Milford Duathlon
MILFORD SUMMER DUATHLON: SATURDAY 1 AUGUST 2009 at 09.00
RACE HQ : Social Club, Chevin Road, Milford, Derbyshire - just 100m off the A6 in Milford which is 6 miles north of Derby
LOCATION: www.multimap.com - then type in DE56 0QE
The event is ALL on road and consists of : 2m run : 9.2m bike : 2m run. It is possible to do the event on a mountain bike. The run is an out and back one along Chevin Road with some gradual climbs.
The bike course is one lap with the same undulating Chevin Road at the beginning of the lap whihc is followed by a steep climb up Ashbourne Road. Once at the top of the hill, the rest of the loop is downhill, flat and fast. Entry fee £8
You may take part in the Duathlon as a RELAY - with one runner and one biker.
ENTRY FEE: £8 in advance or £10 on the day
