THE MILFORD SUMMER DUATHLON is on

RACE HQ : Social Club, Chevin Road, Milford, Derbyshire - just 100m off the A6 in Milford which is 6 miles north of Derby

The event is ALL on road and consists of : 2.5m run : 9.2m bike : 2.5m run. It is possible to do the event on a mountain bike. The run is an out and back one along Chevin Road with some gradual climbs.
The bike course is one lap with the same undulating Chevin Road at the beginning of the lap which is followed by a steep climb up Ashbourne Road. Once at the top of the hill, the rest of the loop is downhill, flat and fast.
You may take part in the Duathlon as a RELAY - with one runner and one biker.
ENTRY FEE: £10 in advance only. Unlikely to be entries on the day

The start of the August 2009 event held in really miserable "summer" rain!!!
A cold competitor at the 2nd transition....but their was free tea, coffee and toast inside the Club after the event
