25th Marathon Windows Epsom Run Week

MONDAY 7 to FRIDAY 11 JUNE 2010

This series of 5 races on 5 nights, with accompanying FREE fun runs for children, just gets more popular each year and more & more friendships develop over the week. For those who have not run in it before, it is unusual in that it includes a time trial on Thursday and the final race is a handicap, based on times recorded in the week, where all of the runners should cross the line together. It didn't work so well this year unfortunately!!!

The entry fee is £18 for the Series in advance or £20 on the day or £4 .50 a race in advance or £5 on the day. The increase in entry fees is because Epsom Ewell Borough Council are now charging just for running in their parks.......at a time when government, national and local, are supposedly encouraging people to get fitter and take part in active recreation.

There are FREE fun runs for children under 6, under 9, under 12 and under 15 each evening before the main run....all entrants will receive a medal (presented on the final evening) for just taking part.

The results of each race appear on the RESULTS PAGE - you need to scroll down to the SURREY section.

  • Many thanks for organising the Tour again. I thought this year was good (not too sure why). Perhaps because I was a little quicker than last year. If I go on improving, by the time I'm 80, I should be fastest. Atmosphere seemed very good this year. (JW) Thanks for all your efforts with the Epsom Tour. I was introduced to it in 2005 by friends from Epsom Oddballs and Sue and I have now done two full tours. Never ever run in any events prior to that ! Nothing like starting late in life ! A really great friendly event--long may it continue. (MM)
  • Thanks for another great Tour. My 3rd in a row and best by far - I'm not used to being that far up the field so didn't even notice I was 3rd M40 going into final race. Nice to now have all races off road with the new Wednesday route, although was quite uneven ground at the start. Always impressed with speed of results. It's great that everything appears to run smoothly each day. (AA)
