This is a great map site for measuring routes. If you type in the following website, you will come up with a map, currently centred on my town of Belper. You can then go to anywhere and then draw in your running routes to get distances, altitudes etc. A useful and interesting site.

Low Cost Air Fares Finder

If you travel to Europe using low cost airlines, here is a site that compares companies and routes. Just type in the airport you wish to fly from and the date(s) and the place you wish to visit and up come the answers.
