WHY NOT HELP?

Just a few pounds will not be missed and EVERY PENNY you donated is spent in India on projects. This is unlike the 61% of the money donated to the 195,000 registered UK charities that is spent on ADMINISTRATION.....yes, only 39p actually is spent directly on projects.

In an article in The Independent in April 2012, it showed details about the Oxfam shops that has a turnover of £670 million yet only make a profit of £153 million after expenses. Surely that cannot be fair on the people who so willingly make donations to Oxfam - a mere 23.5% actually being available for projects and out of which a further percentage would be used in admin!!!

A £12 a month will sponsor a family for a month – food, education for the children and a one-off donation of £25 will buy a goat that provides fresh milk for a family.

The main project that we are working on is to raise sufficient funds to buy a plot of land and then to build a school as a permanent base for the Bethel School that has used leased properties in the past....a mere £160,000...so every penny you may be persuaded to donate will help to provide good education for ever and a day
