Run India
The first Sunday in March has been the date for the past 8 events for an annual c5km road race but the next race will be held on SUNDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2010 .
Through the generosity of UK running clubs (Epsom Oddballs RC, Elmbridge RR, Sutton Runners, Wye Valley Runners and the Mansfield Half Marathon Race Committee), all Indian runners receive a cash prize.
Why not combine a holiday in the lovely State (great food, lovely hot climate and the most wonderful people) and run in the event that starts at 07.30 (well, it is India and it could be nearer 8 o'clock!!!!).
In addition we stage fun runs for under 10's and under 15's and all children get a school exercise book, a school pen and a few Rupees
There are at least 6 international airlines (Qatar, Gulf, Emirates, Sri Lankan, Etihad and Kuwait) that fly to Trivandrum (16kms away). Also, there are many internal low cost airlines within India should you be elsewhere in the country
