Letha's husband died fom a tree fall and her daughter has heart problems

Sanal Kumar has been paralysed for about 6 years. Last year, we purchased a wheelchair and walking frame for him and his progress through sheer determination was a joy to behold. Unfortunately, his 5 year old caliper has now caused injury to one of his legs and so we shall assist with the purchase of new maedical aids for him. In the spring, we were able to seal the flat roof wo prevent water intrusion.

Ambi's husband left in 2006 when Arpana (above) was 7. They are a delightful Mother and daughter and we give them a regular allowance for food and education.

Leena's husband died a couple of years ago and she and her 3 children are very happy to receive a monthly allowance

Leji and her daughter have no home and so live with her brother. Kripa (above) is an excellent martial arts student and teacher and now needs to register for with the International Governing Body in Japan to secure the rights to teach, and thereby become capable of supporting herself and her Mother. We shall arrange for her registration fee to be paid.

Shayla's parents are both invalids and so we support them with a small allowance each month for food and some medical care

Giriji Valsala has 2 daughters, one of whom is well into her university course. However, Ariya (above) cannot secure a student lan from the bank until the house loan taken out by her deceased Father is paid back. We have agreed for this to be sorted out through the generosity of a local Councillor.

Usha Kumari has a son, Hareesh Mohan, who has been paralysed for several years after a fall from abuilding on which he was working. He left his university course after the suicided of his Father in order to support the family, to whom we give a monthly grant. We shall continue to provide grants for treatment as money becomes available

Sugathraj's family are very poor and receive support to enable a decent education for the 3 children

Nirmila's 3 grown-up children are either mentally or physically challenged and need constant medical treatment for which she has been given a grant towards a part of the costs

Usha Kumari's husband died in a lorry crash and has 2 sons to support. We have agreed to supplement her monthly allowance to provide extra tuition for the boys

Kavita's son has heart problems. We have agreed to consider a medical grant after her son's forthcoming check-up

Ajitha, always with a smile on her face, has no home after her husband left here 10 years ago.

Honey is incapable of walking and also she was not able to feed her baby so we provided a monthly allowance and also money for milk for the boy. She now has a paralysed arm and we are funding medical treatment for her

Baby T recently had both legs amputated. Unmarried, she relies on the help of neighbours and we agreed to fund the provision of artifical limbs once the doctor gives the go ahead. This is a very expensive but absolutely worthwhile project part of the costs coming from a bequest.

Nadira Beevi's husband has heart problems and cannot work. Sanuja and Sanofar are her 2 young children

Leela's husband has just died and by Hindu tradition, will not leave the family home for many days of mourning. She has 2 teenage children to look after. This is 15 year old Shiju.
